About Course
During each group session, children are taught fundamental social and play skills through a live puppet show, followed by a variety of games and activities designed to rehearse newly learned skills and reinforce skill development in a naturalistic setting.
Parents attend separate sessions simultaneously and are taught how to help their children make and maintain friendships. To maximize parent training, each session includes a parent-led game, which consists of simulated play dates between group members, during which parents receive feedback from the treatment team on their performance in social training.
