Evaluations
Access diagnostic evaluations for autism, developmental and adaptive behavior. We also offer ADOS-2 and ADI-R supervisions, as well as workshops for professionals on key tools for autism assessment.
Autism diagnostic evaluations
Autism Diagnostic Screening Scale ADOS
ADOS is a semi-structured observation instrument that is performed on people suspected of being on the autism spectrum. The test includes various activities that the interviewer presents to the subject in order to assess aspects of communication, language, reciprocal social interaction, social-emotional understanding, imagination and the presence of interests and/or repetitive or stereotyped behaviors or other abnormal behaviors.
The test consists of 5 modules that are adjusted to the language ability and chronological age of the subject. It can be administered from 18 months of age up to adults.
Interview With ADI-R Parents
ADI-R is a clinical interview that allows an in-depth evaluation of subjects with suspected autism or any Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). It focuses on behaviors that are rarely seen in unaffected individuals.
It has proven to be very useful in diagnosis and in the design of educational and treatment plans. The interviewer explores three broad areas (language/communication, reciprocal social interactions and restricted, repetitive and stereotyped behaviors and interests) through 93 questions asked to the parent or caregiver. The information collected is codified and transferred to simple and useful algorithms that guide the diagnosis and evaluation of the current situation.
We are ADOS and ADI-R certified.
Development evaluations
In children up to 6 years of age
The Bayley-III is a recognized tool that detects delays in child development and facilitates the planning of early interventions. It assesses key areas of development, providing an accurate and comprehensive view of the child’s developmental level.
With excellent psychometric properties, it allows an effective follow-up during the intervention, identifying strengths and areas for improvement. Ideal for interdisciplinary teams, it facilitates the joint assessment of different areas of development for a comprehensive approach.
ADOS 2 and ADI-R Supervisions
We supervise ADOS and ADI-R evaluations, in individual and group modalities, to support professionals in the improvement of their skills.
In the individual supervisions, we work on the specific case that the professional brings to analyze, helping to solve doubts and difficulties in the clinical approach. In the group sessions, we watch videos of real cases and perform a joint analysis, enriched by the experiences and contributions of all participants.
The objective of these spaces is to improve the quality of clinical practice, broaden perspectives, share experiences, clarify doubts and confirm approaches. With more than 15 years of experience in diagnostic evaluations and treatment planning, we offer this service to help professionals optimize the use of ADOS-2 and ADI-R tools, increasing their efficiency and diagnostic capacity.
The supervisions can be carried out in person at the offices, or remotely, via Skype, to provide flexibility and adapt to the needs of each professional.
Autism assessment tools workshop for professionals
We take our autism assessment workshop to the provinces, offering professionals comprehensive training in the detection and diagnosis of ASD. The workshop provides key tools to identify warning signs and perform an accurate assessment, facilitating early and effective intervention.
The format can be a one-day theoretical-clinical format, where quantitative diagnostic and screening tools are explained. In addition, we offer a two-day option, which includes the evaluation of patients in local centers, where professionals can observe the diagnostic process in real time, using Gesell cameras or closed circuit for a practical and enriching experience.
With a maximum capacity of 60 to 70 participants, the workshop allows for a personalized approach, ideal for interdisciplinary teams seeking to be updated on the most advanced tools for the diagnosis of autism.
